Use the OH STRS Annual Member Contribution - Service Credit page to configure and maintain the service credit lookup table that determines how much retirement credit employees earn based on the number of days they work during the fiscal year.
If errors are encountered during the Load data process, you can correct the source data on the Service Credits form of the OH STRS Annual Member Contribution - Service Credit page. After corrections, you must purge and reload the data.
You must complete this setup before loading data.
PowerSchool recommends that you correct the report’s source data that is retrieved from the Core application.

On the OH STRS Annual Member Contribution - Service Credit page, filter records using the filter criteria. To enter filter criteria:

Select an option in the first field.

Select or enter a value.

Select Add if the button is enabled.
Refer to Search for records for more information.-
To add a record, select Add Record. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields. Select Save, and then Yes.

To edit a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column and then select Edit. Update the information and select Save.

To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, and then select Yes.

To download the information, select Download, then select Download PDF or Download as an Excel Document. The default file names are:

Excel: OH Service Credit Report_<MMDDYYYY_hhmmss>.csv

To look for missing days worked, select Test Setup.

If no days are missing in the Service Credit outline, select OK.

If any number of days is missing, save the report file. The default file name is OH Test Service Credit Report_11072025_053928.pdf.

Navigate to the file location.

Inspect the file. Refer to the Field descriptions and update the data as necessary.

Repeat these steps until no errors are encountered and no days are missing.

Days Worked |
The number of days worked that serves as the lookup key in the service credit table. This value is used to match against an employee's actual days worked to determine the appropriate service credit to assign. |

Part Time Service Credit |
The service credit value assigned to part-time employees or full-time employees with fewer than 90 days of service, who worked the corresponding number of days. This value represents the fractional year of retirement credit earned (e.g., 0.39 for 71 days). |

Full Time Service Credit |
The service credit value assigned to full-time employees with 120 or more days worked who worked the corresponding number of days. This value represents the fractional year of retirement credit earned for full-time service (typically higher than the part-time credit for the same days worked). |
