New Hire Report - Troubleshooting

The following table lists the most common errors encountered when creating the New Hire report, and the corresponding quick-fix solutions.

Missing hire date

Enter the Hire Date in MM/DD/YYYY format.

Missing file prefix

Enter four alphanumeric characters (no spaces).

Hard copy not verified

Create a hard copy report first, review, and confirm the accuracy.

No records found

Check the hire dates, employee status, and contractor YTD wages.

Security denied

Contact the system administrator for access.

Database connection

Check server status and network connectivity.

Validation errors

Review the error report PDF, and correct the source data.
