Employee Ledger Report - File Layout and Data Mapping - Employee Information Section
The fields in the Employee Information section of the Employee Ledger report are arranged in six lines:
Line 1 Fields
The following table shows the field names and data sources or valid values for the Line 1 fields in the Employee Information section of the Employee Ledger report.

EMPL# (Employee Number) | Retrieved from the Employee Number field on the Employee Information page. |
BIRTH (Birth Date) | Retrieved from the Birthdate field on the Employee Information page. |
PERS STAT (PERS Status) | Retrieved from the Old PERS Stat field on the Payroll Information - State Required page. Displays a dash (-) if not found. |
PAY HOURS | Retrieved from the Pay Hours field on the Pay Rate Information page (primary pay rate only). |
ANNUAL SAL (Annual Salary) | Retrieved from the Annual Salary field on the Pay Rate Information page (primary pay rate only). |
Line 2 Fields
The following table shows the field names and data sources or valid values for the Line 2 fields in the Employee Information section of the Employee Ledger report.

SSN (Social Security Number) | Retrieved from the Social Security field on the Employee Information page. Masked based on user security settings. |
START (Original Hire Date) | Retrieved from the Original Hire field on the Employment tab of the Employee Information page. |
HOURS/DAY | Retrieved from the Hours/Day field on the Pay Rate Information page (primary pay rate only). |
PAY RATE | Retrieved from the Rate field on the Pay Rate Information page (primary pay rate only). |
CONTRACT SAL (Contract Salary) | Retrieved from the Contract Limit field on the Pay Rate Information page (primary pay rate only). |
Line 3 Fields
The following table shows the field names and data sources or valid values for the Line 3 fields in the Employee Information section of the Employee Ledger report.

NAME (Full Name) | Constructed from multiple fields. The First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Name Suffix are retrieved from the Employee Information page. |
END (Termination Date) | Retrieved from the Last Day Worked field on the Employee Information page. |
DAYS (Days Worked) | Retrieved from the Days Worked field on the Pay Rate Information page (primary pay rate only). |
EXEMPTIONS FED (Federal Exemptions) | Retrieved from the Status field in the Federal section and the Dependents field in the W4 Pre-2020 section of the Employee Tax Information page. |
STATE (State Exemptions) | Retrieved from the Status and Dependents fields in the State section of the Employee Tax Information page. |
Line 4 Fields

CLASS (Classification) | Retrieved from the Job Class field on the Pay Rate Information page. The title is retrieved from the Title field on the Job Class page. |
