PERS Report - Load Data
Use the OR PERS Report - Load page to load retirement data from payroll into the Oregon PERS (Public Employees Retirement System) reporting tables. This page allows users to extract payroll check data for a specified date range and populate the PERS demographic and wage reporting tables with employee retirement information.
On the OR PERS Report page, select Load.
Refer to the Field descriptions and enter or select the required load criteria.
Select Load, and then Yes.
If data for the selected criteria is loaded, select Yes to delete and reload the data.
Save the Load Summary report file and select OK.
If errors are encountered, save the Load Error log and select OK.
Navigate to the file location.
Inspect the files. Refer to Maintain data and update the data as necessary.
Repeat these steps until no errors are encountered and all required data is loaded.
Field descriptions
The following table describes the fields on the OR PERS Report - Load page.
Field | Description |

Beginning Check Date | The starting date of the payroll check date range for which retirement data will be extracted and loaded into the OR PERS reporting file. |
Ending Check Date | The ending date of the payroll check date range for which retirement data will be extracted and loaded into the OR PERS reporting file. |
Period End Date | The period end date for the reporting period. This represents the pay period ending date associated with the selected check date range. The system automatically populates this field based on the Beginning Check Date and Ending Check Date. This field is view-only. |
Other Lump Sum Payoff | Indicates that the load should process lump sum payoff amounts using pay codes with OLS - Other Lump Sum selected in the Pay Code Type field on the Retirement Paycodes form of the OR PERS Report - Retirement Pay Codes page. When selected, applicable lump sum payoff earnings are included in the retirement extraction for PERS reporting. |
