Release Note

EFIN-95499New Out of State and Replacement fields are added to the user defined page 32002

After implementing Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (PFMLI), the out-of-state employee and replacement worker information must be included in the Quarterly Tax Report.

The application has been enhanced to add the following two fields on the User-Defined 32002 – State Required II page:

  • Out of State: Indicates whether the employee is a PFMLI out-of-state worker or not. The possible field value can be Y (Yes) or N (No). An out-of-state worker is included in the total number of employees paid in the quarter to work exclusively outside of Oregon.
  • Replacement: Indicates whether the employee is a PFMLI replacement worker or not. The possible field value can be Y (Yes) or N (No). A replacement worker is included in the total number of temporary workers employed as replacements for employees on PFMLI leave during the reported quarter.

The Out of State and Replacement fields' information is included in the Quarterly Tax Report.

EFIN-97115Added a Blank Character to the RV Record in Oregon State W2The Oregon state W-2 file was failing because the total line length of the RV record was one character short. Therefore, a blank character has been added, so the RV record line has 512 characters.
EFIN-98390OR - Paid Family Medical Leave Reporting

From January 01, 2023, the employees and employers start paying for the new Paid Family Medical Leave Insurance (PFMLI) program. These PFMLI deductions must be captured and reported as part of the Quarterly Tax and Unemployment reports.

The application has been enhanced to allow the user to define the PFMLI deductions as one of the deduction types. Also, they can report the PFMLI wages and contributions (as requested by the FRANCES online) on the Quarterly Tax and Unemployment reports.
