User-Defined Codes

Use this page to set up user-defined codes used in OR state reporting.

The following are the user-defined tables:

User-Defined Table

Description

ET

Stores the deduction codes for Eugene city tax.

You must create and populate this table.

For more information, refer to Create and populate the ET user-defined table.

FH

Stores the PERS FTE (Full Time Equivalent) Hour codes.

This table is preloaded. You must update and maintain this table.

JC

Stores the PERS Job Class codes.

This table is preloaded. You must update and maintain this table.

LO

Stores the Language of Origin codes.

This table is preloaded with the current Language of Origin codes defined by the Oregon Department of Education.

OT

Stores the PERS OT Hour codes.

This table is preloaded. You must update and maintain this table.

PO

Stores the position codes.

This table is preloaded with the current position codes defined by the Oregon Department of Education.

SD

Stores the site or location codes.

You must create and populate this table.

SR

Stores the PERS Status codes.

This table is preloaded. You must update and maintain this table.

User-defined table for PERS Pickup

Stores the PERS pickup eligible deduction codes.

You must specify the 2-character table code on the Human Resources Profile - State page.

You must populate and maintain this table.

Create and populate the SD user-defined table

  1. On the start page, select Human Resources.

  2. Select Reference Tablesthen from the Personnel menu, select User Defined Codes.

  3. Select Add new.

  4. Enter the Table Code as SD.

  5. Enter a numeric site or location Code.

  6. Enter a site or location Title.

  7. Select Accept.

  8. Repeat these steps and define codes for the remaining sites or locations.

Create and populate the ET user-defined table

  1. On the start page, select Human Resources.

  2. Select Reference Tables, then from the Personnel menu, select User Defined Codes.

  3. Select Add new.

  4. Enter the Table Code as ET.

  5. Enter the Code as EUGT.

  6. Enter the Title as Eugene City Tax.

  7. Select Accept.

  8. Repeat these steps and define codes for the other deduction codes.
