UFARS Report - Data Crosswalk - GL

Use the MN UFARS Report - Setup - Data Crosswalk - GL page to create a crosswalk (translation table) that converts your district's internal General Ledger (GL) account codes to the corresponding state-defined UFARS GL account codes during the UFARS report generation process.

The GL crosswalk specifically handles balance sheet accounts and other General Ledger accounts that require translation for UFARS reporting. This is separate from the revenue and expenditure account crosswalks and focuses on asset, liability, and fund balance accounts.

1. On the MN UFARS Report - Setup - Data Crosswalk - Fund page, select GL from the Crosswalk Type drop-down list.

2. Select the Year.

3. Filter records using the filter criteria. To enter filter criteria:

   1. Select an option in the first field.

   2. Select or enter a value.

   3. Select Add if the button is enabled.
      Refer to Search for records for more information.

      • To add a record, select Add Record. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields. Select Save, then Yes.

      • To edit a record, select the record and select Accept. Update the information and select Accept.

      • To delete, select Delete, then Yes.

      • To download the information, select Download, then select Download PDF or Download as an Excel Document. The default file names are:

        • Excel: MN UFARS Report GL Crosswalk_<MMDDYYYY_hhmmss>.xlsx

        • PDF: MN UFARS Report GL Crosswalk_<MMDDYYYY_hhmmss>.pdf
