Use the MN PERA Retirement Report - Report page to generate either the MN PERA Contribution Report or PERA Demographic Report in either hard copy or electronic file format for the check date specified.

On the MN PERA Retirement Report page, select Report.

From the Report drop-down, select one of the following options:

Contribution: Select to create the PERA-specific contribution report.

Demographic: Select to create the PERA demographic information report.

Select or enter the Check Date for which the data was loaded.

Select the Included Records. The options are:

Regular Payroll
-
Summer Pay
-
All Records
-

Create a hard copy of the report to verify data before you create the electronic file:

Select Hard Copy.

Select PDF or Excel.

If you have the security permission to view the entire Social Security Number (without masking) and want to include it, select Print Full Social Security Number.

Select Create, and then Yes.

Save the file and select OK.

Navigate to the folder containing the report file.

Inspect the file. Update data if needed.

Repeat these steps until all the required data is included.

Create the electronic file:

Select Electronic File.

Select the Report Criteria as you did in Steps 2 - 4.

Select Create, and then Yes.

Save the file and select OK.

For the PERA Retirement - Contribution report, the default file name is PERAC, followed by PERA Employer Number, and check date_ batch number_Date time stamp (usually the EST time zone) on when the report was generated in DDMMYYYY_hhmmss.sdr. For example, PERAC13080009192018_10132023_071308.sdr.
For the PERA Retirement - Demographic report, the default file name is PERAD, followed by PERA Employer Number, and check date_Date time stamp (usually the EST time zone) on when the report was generated in DDMMYYYY_hhmmss.sdr. For example, PERAD13080009192018_10132023_071318.sdr.
