Use the Update Board Paid Benefits page to update the Employee Deductions page’s Additional Gross fields for the "M" method deduction records with the employee's board-paid benefit amount.
The board-paid benefit amount is calculated by summing the amounts for the employee benefits set up on the NY Update Board Paid Benefits - Board Paid Deductions page.
Menu path
From the Human Resources menu, select State. From the State - NY menu, select Update Board Paid Benefits.
Selection rule
Employee deduction records with an "M" method deduction and a board-paid deduction matching the selected frequencies are selected and updated.

Complete the Setup procedure.

Board Paid Deductions
Set up board-paid insurance deductions to update board-paid benefits and calculate retirement contributions correctly.

On the NY Update Board Paid Benefits page, select Board Paid Deductions.

Filter records using the filter criteria. To enter filter criteria:

Select an option in the first field.

Select or enter a value.

Select Add if the button is enabled.
Refer to Search for Records for more information.-
To add a record, click Add Record. Refer to the Field description and enter valid information. Select Save, then Yes.

To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, and then select Yes.

Update Benefits

Select the Deduction Frequencies. Select Check All to select all the frequencies.

Select Calculate, and then Yes.

Save the file and select OK.
The default file name is NY Update Board Paid Benefits_<MMDDYYYY>_<hhmmss>.pdf
Clear Deductions
Use this option to reset the Employee Deductions page’s Additional Gross fields to 0.00.

Select the Deduction Frequencies. Select Check All to select all the frequencies.

Select Clear Deductions.
