If the midpoint projected salary is less than the pay family/grade maximum salary, projected salary = midpoint projected salary.

Else if the midpoint projected salary exceeds the maximum and the maximum projected salary is less than the maximum, projected salary = maximum projected salary.

Else if both the midpoint and maximum projected salaries exceed the pay family/grade maximum, projected salary = pay family/grade maximum.
