Use the Min/Mid/Max Pay Family/Grade Information page to define and maintain salary ranges for job classifications within a structured compensation system.

On the Min/Mid/Max Pay Family/Grade Information page, enter the Search Criteria to find the required records, and then select Search.
Refer to Search for records for more information.-
To add a record, select Add new. Refer to the Field descriptions, enter valid information, and select Accept.

To edit a record, select the record and select Accept. Update the information and select Accept.

To delete, select the record and select Delete. Select Yes.

To generate a report, select Print, and then select a Destination:

Select File to create the report in .rpt format. The default file name is famgrdtb.rpt. You can change the default file name.

Select PDF to download the report in .pdf format. The default file name is famgrdtb_<#####>.pdf.

Select Excel to download the report in .xlsx format. Select the required Excel Options. The default file name is famgrdtbrpt<####_#####>.xlsx.

Select OK.

Download the .rpt file from the View Files page.

Save the .pdf or .xls file.

Field descriptions

Pay Family |
A code that groups jobs with similar compensation characteristics (e.g., "PROF" for professional, "CLRK" for clerical, "MGMT" for management). This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record. |

Pay Grade |
A code that identifies the specific level within a pay family, typically representing experience or responsibility levels (e.g., "01", "02", "03"). This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record. |

Description |
A text description of the pay family/grade combination to help identify the job classification (e.g., "Professional Level 2" or "Clerical Entry"). |

Minimum Salary |
The lowest salary amount for the pay family/grade. Represents the starting or entry-level pay for positions in this classification. The valid value is the annual salary. |

Midpoint Salary |
The target or control point salary for the pay family/grade. This field is not required for the Salary Increase method and is view-only. |
|
Maximum Salary |
The highest salary amount for the pay family/grade. Represents the salary cap for positions in this classification. Employees cannot exceed this amount through standard increases. The valid value is the annual salary. |

Calculation Factor |
An additional percentage multiplier used in percent method calculations for the midpoint and maximum increase amounts. Leave this field blank if not used. |

New Hire Date |
A date filter for salary calculations. When a date is selected, only employees hired on or before this date are included in salary increase calculations. Leave this field blank to calculate all employees regardless of hire date. |
