OASIS Report - Prior Year Adjustment

Use the MO OASIS Report - Prior Year Adjustment page to create and maintain adjustment records for prior year retirement reporting to Missouri OASIS (Online Automated Submission and Information System). This page allows users to manually enter or modify retirement data for employees when corrections are needed for previously reported periods.

PowerSchool recommends that you correct the report’s source data that is retrieved from the Core application.

  1. On the MO OASIS Report - Prior Year Adjustment page, filter records using the filter criteria. To enter filter criteria:

    1. Select an option in the first field.

    2. Select or enter a value.

    3. Select Add if the button is enabled.
      Refer to Search for records for more information.

      • To add a record, select Add Record. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields. Select Save, and then Yes.

      • To edit a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column and then select Edit. Update the information and select Save.

      • To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, and then select Yes.

      • To download the information, select Download, then select Download PDF or Download as an Excel Document. The default file names are:

        • Excel: MO OASIS Report_<MMDDYYYY_hhmmss>.xlsx

        • PDF: MO OASIS Report_<MMDDYYYY_hhmmss>.pdf

The following table describes the fields on the Adjustment Detail form of the MO OASIS Report - Prior Year Adjustment page.

School Year

The fiscal school year for the prior year adjustment record (e.g., 2023-2024).

This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record.

Not applicable

Report Month

The month within the school year for which the adjustment applies. An extra month (13) is available for year-end adjustments.

This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record.

Report Period

The pay period within the selected month for which the adjustment applies.

This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record.

Valid values:

  • Period 1

  • Period 2

  • Period 3

Employee Number

The employee’s identification (ID) number.

Select the Lookup icon to search for and select an employee number.

This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record.

The field value is retrieved from the Employee Number field on the Employee Information page.

Pay Start Date

The beginning date of the pay period for which the adjustment is being made.

This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record.

Pay End Date

The ending date of the pay period for which the adjustment is being made.

This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record.

Social Security Number

The employee's Social Security number. 

This field is view-only.

The field value is retrieved from the Social Security field on the Employee Information page.

Last Name

The employee's last name.

This field is view-only.

The field value is retrieved from the Last Name field on the Employee Information page.

First Name

The employee’s first name.

This field is view-only.

The field value is retrieved from the First Name field on the Employee Information page.

Middle Name

The employee's middle name.

This field is view-only.

The field value is retrieved from the Middle Name field on the Employee Information page.

Suffix

The employee’s name suffix.

The field value is retrieved from the Suffix field on the Employee Information page.

This field value overrides the Suffix field value on the Employee Information page.

The values in the drop-down list are retrieved from the Suffix Table page.

Wage Type

The retirement system classification for the adjustment.


Valid values:

  • P - PSRS Regular

  • S - PSRS Social Security

  • C - PSRS Critical Shortage

  • N - PEERS Regular

  • W - PEERS Critical Shortage

  • R - Non-Member Retiree

  • O - Non-Member PSRS as Non-Certificated

  • T - Non-Member Substitute Teaching WAR Waiver

  • X - Non-Member

Career Ladder

Indicates whether the adjustment includes career ladder earnings, which are additional compensation for teachers participating in Missouri's career ladder program.

Gross Salary

The total gross earnings amount for the adjustment period.

Retirement Salary

The salary amount subject to retirement contributions for the adjustment period.

Employer Contribution

The employer's retirement contribution amount for the adjustment period.

Employee Contribution

The employee's retirement contribution amount withheld for the adjustment period.

Insurance Amount

The life insurance premium amount for the adjustment period.
