Use the Update Years of Service page to update the following fields for non-terminated employees on the Employment tab of the Employee Information page:

Years Employed
-
Years in State
-
Years in Total
You must use this option only once a year for any particular group of non-terminated employees based on personnel status.
Menu path
From the Human Resources menu, select State. From the State menu, select LA Update Years Experience.
Selection rule
Non-terminated employees matching the Personnel Status on the Update Years of Service page are selected and updated.
Update data

Select the Personnel Status.

Select Update, and then Yes.

Select a Destination:

Select File to create the report in .rpt format. The default file name is updserv.rpt. You can change the default file name.

Select Screen to download the report in .pdf format. The default file name is updserv_<XXXXX>.pdf.

Select Excel to download the report in .xlsx format. Select the required Excel Options. The default file name is updservrpt<XXXX_XXXXX>.xlsx.

Select OK.

Download the .rpt file from the View Files page.

Save the .pdf or .xlsx file.

During the update process, the following field values on the Employment tab of the Employee Information page are incremented by 1 until they reach 99:
