Functionality added to PEIMS Staff Information Page to delete records

Menu path: PEIMS > All > Data Exchange (Ed-Fi) > Staff Information

The Delete function on the toolbar is enabled for users with the security resource 32002, ‘may update DEX staff information’. When deleting a row, all related demographic and payroll accounting information is deleted from the staff information. Staff responsibilities are not deleted.

The deletion is logged in the audit trail and is viewable at PEIMS > All > Data Exchange (Ed-Fi) > DEX Financial Audit Report. Select table names tx_staff, tx_staff_employement, and ts_payroll to see the deletions logged.

Texas TEAM RP25 now allowing scheduled hours and actual hours adjustment

Menu path: Human Resources > State > Texas TEAM Report > Create TEAM Reports

The TEAM payroll report for RP25 records will now allow for both scheduled and actual hours to be present if one of the amounts is being adjusted to zero. This will then reflect the correct adjustments in the TRS software when correcting an employee who was incorrectly reported as scheduled in a prior month and should have had actual hours reported. If one of the scheduled or actual hours is not reported as zero, TRS will still consider this an error.

Fields added to TX PEIMS staff information page

Menu path: PEIMS > All > Data Exchange (Ed-Fi) > Staff Information

Three fields have been added to the staff information page: years of prior teaching experience and creditable years of service, which are editable, and email address, which is display-only.

These fields previously existed and were included in submissions, but now they are also included on the staff information screen and demographic report.
