Added Maintenance to Texas Ed-Fi for Prior Year Shared Service Arrangements

Added menu option for Prior Year Shared Service Arrangements to the PEIMS menu group under the Data Exchange (Ed-Fi) sub-group.

This maintenance will be used for reporting the Prior Year SSA Organization records to Ed-Fi. The action ‘Copy from Current Year’ allows the user to quickly copy the current records in Shared Service Arrangements (011) at the end of each year to record a snapshot of data.

Staff extended attributes reset when no records found

When performing a search in PEIMS > Ed-Fi Staff Extensions, the Staff Extended Attributes section was not cleared when no records were returned. This issue is now resolved, and the Staff Extended Attributes section will clear.

The PEIMS Staff Information page is now updated to allow:

• The search criteria to persist after a search.

• The records to be deleted using multi-select.

• The back button to exit the program when not in edit mode.

TX Ed-Fi Staff Extensions – Entity Name Display Fix

When editing an existing record in TX Ed-Fi Staff Extensions and changing the Entity Name, the first field label in the Staff Extended Attributes section may appear to be missing. At the same time, its value and description remained partially visible. This created a confusing display, with field mappings unclear. The Entity Name field is now read-only when editing an existing record, preventing this display issue. To use a different Entity Name, create a new record instead.

Criteria entered during the Texas Teacher Service Records load process, including parameters, timestamps, and user identifiers, are now recorded in a table for troubleshooting.

TX Ed-Fi Staff Extensions: Staff ID now auto-populates from Employee Number

On the TX Ed-Fi Staff Extensions page, selecting an Employee Number when adding a new record will now automatically populate the corresponding Staff ID. Previously, the Staff ID field remained blank and had to be entered manually, which could lead to data entry errors or inconsistencies. This update ensures the Staff ID is derived directly from the selected employee record, improving accuracy and reducing manual effort.

State Step Validation Against Salary Schedule Maximum

The State Step field on Texas employee pages now validates that the entered value does not exceed the maximum step defined on the employee's salary schedule. Previously, any numeric value was accepted; now, the system checks the salary schedule's Maximum Steps and displays an error if the entered step exceeds the maximum. Additionally, if a State Step is entered, a salary schedule is now required.

Affected pages:

• Employee State Required page (Human Resources > Employee Information > Employee > State Required page) — The system validates the value against the maximum step in the salary schedule.

• TEAM Defaults — State Minimum Salary (Human Resources > Employee Information > Employee > Actions > TEAM Defaults) — The State Minimum Salary grid validates the State Step against the salary schedule maximum step.
