Lookups Added to TX Ed-Fi Staff Extensions data

On the TX Ed-Fi Staff Extensions Page (PEIMS > Data Exchange (Ed-Fi) > Staff > Ed-Fi Staff Extensions), lookups and validations have been added.

Drop-down lists are added for AuxiliaryRoleIDSet, ParaProfessionalCerificationSet, and ParaProfessionalCerificationSet values to ensure valid selections. DaysEmployedSet values are validated against allowed ranges. The same functionality is available when accessing Ed-Fi Staff Extensions from the Employee Information page.

TX - Added Name Fields to TX Staff Extensions

Texas Staff Extensions now makes it easier to find employee records by allowing searches on last name, first name, middle name, and suffix. These fields are also shown in results, detail views, and printed output for better visibility, while remaining read-only.

Name Search Added to TX Staff Responsibilities Page

On the TX Staff Responsibilities page (PEIMS > Data Exchange (Ed-Fi) > Staff > TEA Staff Responsibilities), the user can now search by first name, middle name, last name, and generation. These name fields are displayed in the search results grid, and the selected employee name is displayed above the Staff Assignment Set section. The name fields are also displayed when TEA Staff Responsibilities is accessed from the Employee Information page.

Add Texas Ed-Fi Staff Extensions to Add Employee Process

Menu Path: Human Resources > Employee Information

When adding a new employee, Texas customers will now have an additional available window to complete for pending employees. The Ed-Fi Staff Extensions option allows users to modify staff extensions records for an employee before the employee is fully added to the system.

Contracted staff data load option

Contracted staff data can be loaded separately from staff information, with options to import files, specify criteria, review data before posting, and ensure consistent results and error reporting across loading methods.

Texas Unique ID Updates Now Sync to Ed-Fi

Human Resources > Employee Information > Personnel Action > Defined Windows > State Required II

When a user modifies an employee’s TSDS ID in the State Required II field, the change is automatically replicated to the employee’s Ed-Fi Staff Information record.

In the PEIMS > DEX Audit Log, the staff ID field is now displayed masked, as with Social Security number fields in audit logs.

Staff responsibilities report field updates

Menu Path: PEIMS > Data Exchange (Ed-Fi) > Staff - Staff Information - Reports (select Staff Responsibilities)

The Staff Responsibilities Report now separates codes and descriptions into distinct fields for Generation, School ID, Staff Classification, Special Education Student Age Range, Population, and Staff Service.

TX TEAM Charging Variance Report Fatal Error

The Charging Variance Report produced a fatal error for large Texas districts when processing more than 32,767 salary distribution records. This has been corrected so that no district should ever encounter the limit again.

There was a second issue in the Charging Report that occurred when RP25 records corrected the statutory minimum without also correcting the non-OASDI amount. This resulted in the totals in the non-OASDI column appearing blank due to a mishandling of the null value. This has also been corrected.
