As part of regular security and maintenance, we upgraded the Compliance Reporting User Interface to use components from the PowerSchool Design System (version 31.0.3). No functionality or user flow changes.

Prevent Duplicate & Orphaned Records for Ohio Future Job Class Import

Resolved an issue causing duplicate and orphaned records in the future job class import for Ohio, which caused errors during future pay rate updates.

Updating the effective date for future job classes during the import will now properly update the Ohio-specific future job class table with the correct effective date, allowing the correct information to post and be cleaned up when posting future job class records.

OH Cash Position Report - Enhancement

The OH Cash Position Report was enhanced to support multiple cash accounts within a single Cash Account field. The changes include

• Renamed Cash Account 1 to Cash Account

• Removed Cash Accounts 2 - 5

• Enabled multiple cash accounts to be entered, separated by a pipe separator in the Cash Account field.

In Summary, Cash Account 2-5 are removed, and you can specify multiple cash accounts in the Cash Account field. The remaining report-processing functionality remains unchanged.

OH EMIS Vacancy Report - Electronic File Changes

OH EMIS Vacancy Report Electronic File has been modified to include the following changes:

• Removed *** from the electronic file generation for the CR140 field - Unfilled Position FTE when the field value is blank, and printing it as blank when no values are found for the Unfilled Position FTE field.

• When the Unfilled Position FTE field value is 0.00, it is printed as 000.

OH EMIS Class Codes Enhancement - EMIS Vacancy Report flag

OH EMIS Class Codes functionality has been enhanced with the following changes:

• Added a new checkbox, “Applicable to EMIS Vacancy Report,” to the EMIS Class Codes page.

• When this option is selected, the Class Code will be included in the following Position Code drop-downs:

  • Position Code drop-down on the Staff Vacancy Information form of the EMIS Staff Vacancy Report page.

  • Position Code drop-down on the EMIS Staff Vacancy Report - Report page.

• Enabled the checkbox for the following codes applicable to EMIS Vacancy Reporting through the installer's first execution:

  • 104 Assistant Principal Assignment

  • 108 Principal Assignment

  • 202 Counseling Assignment

  • 212 Supplemental Service Teaching Assignment (Serves Students with Disability Conditions Only)

  • 230 Teacher Assignment

OH EMIS Staff Report - Load Sick/Non-EMIS Leave Report Changes

The OH EMIS Staff Report Load page has been updated so that users can generate the Non-EMIS Attendance Report for districts that do not use the following fincustom:

• FCHIL00326898 – Attendance Start Date and Attendance End Date

• FCHDS00278692 – Sick Leave Bank Date

Summary of changes

For districts that do not use the above fincustom:

• Sick Leave Bank Date is not displayed.

• Non-EMIS Attendance Start Date and Non-EMIS Attendance End Date are optional fields.

• Change in the header :

  • OH EMIS STAFF SICK/NON-EMIS LEAVE REPORT to OH EMIS STAFF NON-EMIS ATTENDANCE REPORT

• Removed columns:

  • BANKED DAYS

  • BANK DATE

• Renamed the report:

  • EMIS Staff Non_EMIS Leave Report_datetimestamp

• The report will not be generated when there are no records to show. Essentially, it will not generate blank reports.

For districts that use the fincustom, there is no change.
