OH | EMIS | Data Export Screen | Staff Vacancy Report Option enabled

For the Staff Vacancy Report, the electronic file format option is made available on the EMIS Data Export page. This allows users to generate the Staff Vacancy Report in addition to the existing EMIS Reports. The report is created based on the Staff Column’s Fiscal Year, and the Reporting Period is always L, as this report deals with the L period only and does not depend on the EMIS Profile’s Staff reporting period.

Per the spec changes, the EMIS Vacancy Report electronic file export has been updated to correctly represent the CR140 Unfilled Position FTE field using the implied decimal format (9V99) instead of the explicit decimal format (9.99).

What changed:

• The Unfilled Position FTE value in the electronic file is now output without the decimal point, using an implied two-decimal format.

  • Example: A value of 1.23 is now exported as 123; a value of 0.50 is exported as 050.

• This aligns with the ODE-specified format for the Staff Vacancy CR Record and is consistent with how other numeric fields (e.g., 999V9 in the CI Record) are represented across EMIS electronic files.
