OH Pending Employee Pay Frequency Update for Local Taxes |
Previously, updating the Pay Frequency on a pending employee created duplicate local tax records instead of updating existing ones. The update process now updates existing tax records to the new pay frequency without creating duplicates. |

EFIN-153422 |
Payroll journal report local tax accuracy |
The payroll journal report in Excel now accurately calculates year-to-date local tax amounts instead of matching them to current deduction amounts for all local tax codes. |

OH | Update Service Years changes are now tracked in Employee Activity History |
In earlier releases, running Human Resources > State > Update Service Years updated employees' years of service fields (Years in District, Years in State, and Total Years). However, those changes weren't recorded in Employee Activity History. As a result, they didn't appear in Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Employee Information > History > Activity History or on the Human Resources > Reports > Payroll > Employee Payroll Activity History report. Only manual edits to these fields were tracked. Now, when Update Service Years changes an employee's years of service, it adds an entry to Employee Activity History. The process now tracks and reports changes the same way it does for manual changes. |

OH | Update Service Years fixes for Terminated Employees |
In the Human Resources > State > Update Service Years process, terminated employees are now included or excluded correctly when service years are updated. Before this fix, a problem with how employees were picked caused two errors:
Now, the system updates terminated employees only if they worked during the fiscal year being processed. It no longer includes employees who left the district before that year. Processing for active employees hasn't changed. |

OH | Update Service Years fixed for Pending Employees |
Before this fix, running Human Resources > State > Update Service Years with Active employees selected also updated pending employees. Now, Update Service Years checks the employee's Pending Status. It excludes pending employees, and their years of service are not changed. Active employees are processed the same way as before. |

Ohio EMIS Staff Report – Load no longer depends on NON-EMIS Leave Report data |
We fixed an issue with the Ohio EMIS Staff Report – Load. For some districts, the load finished with a message that no records were loaded, even when valid staff data existed. This happened because the load process was tied to the NON-EMIS Leave Report: if no leave records fell between the NON-EMIS start and end dates, the whole staff load stopped. Now the EMIS Staff Report – Load runs on its own, whether or not there is NON-EMIS Leave Report data:

OH | STRS Payroll | Add Record | Suffix Field Validation Fix |
Previously, when adding a record in Human Resources > State > STRS Payroll, the Suffix field was incorrectly required. Users could not save unless they entered a suffix, even when the employee had none, preventing districts from adding new hires without placeholder values. This is fixed. The Suffix field is now optional, and users can save STRS Payroll records with it left blank. |

OH | EMIS | Staff Vacancy Report | Validation fixes |
Fixed the EMIS Staff Vacancy Report maintenance and import page validations so that when Vacancy Filled Method is NO or CO, the new employee information and vacancy filled date are optional. |
