EFIN-88428	Maryland Staff Reporting Changes for 2022-2023	For the 2022-2023 submission of the Maryland Annual Staff Report, the Maryland State Department of Education has incorporated the following modifications: The position title for Guidance Counselor is changed to School Counselor. A new field to report National Board Certification for teachers is added. Users must change the description and/or title of the Guidance Counselor position in Human Resources - Reference Table - Payroll - Position Types. Users must add a code to represent the National Board Certification to the Human Resources - Reference Tables - Personnel - Credential Codes reference table. The National Board Certification can then be added to the employee in Human Resources - Entry and Processing - Employee Information (select employee) - Personnel Information- Credentials. When running the Load option in the MD Annual Staff Report you can now enter the credential code representing the National Board Certification. The Load option reports a 'Yes' in the new National Board Certification field if the employee is a teacher, position 11, and has a credential code matching the National Board Certification code entered. The credential code should not be expired. Otherwise, the teachers will load with a No. All other positions are reported as blank. The National Board Certification field is also included in the hard copy report and electronic file.

Maryland Staff Reporting Changes for 2022-2023

For the 2022-2023 submission of the Maryland Annual Staff Report, the Maryland State Department of Education has incorporated the following modifications:

The position title for Guidance Counselor is changed to School Counselor.
A new field to report National Board Certification for teachers is added.

Users must change the description and/or title of the Guidance Counselor position in Human Resources - Reference Table - Payroll - Position Types.

Users must add a code to represent the National Board Certification to the Human Resources - Reference Tables - Personnel - Credential Codes reference table.

The National Board Certification can then be added to the employee in Human Resources - Entry and Processing - Employee Information (select employee) - Personnel Information- Credentials.
