MSDE Transaction Details Report | Encumbrances Enhancement

The MD MSDE Transaction Details Report has been enhanced to include Encumbrances during data loading for Period 13.

• Load Screen Changes
  A new checkbox, “Include Period 13 Encumbrances,” is displayed when Period 13 is selected.

• Load Logic changes

  • Selecting the “Include Period 13 Encumbrances” checkbox will include all period 13 encumbrances for transaction codes 17 and 18.

  • The transaction date defaults to 6/30/<reporting year>. For example, if the Reporting Year is 2025, then the default transaction date is 6/30/2025.

• Hard Copy - Excel changes
  The Hard Copy – Excel file contains the transaction codes 17 and 18 for easy verification.

• Electronic file
  The electronic file will continue to print in the current format (without including the transaction codes 17 and 18).

MD Annual Staff Report - Contract Months Fix for Non-Professional Staff

The contract months data for Non-Professional staff (position code 26 and higher) is fixed so that it is not included in the MD Annual Staff report.

MSDE Transaction Details Report | Encumbrances Logic Enhancement

The MD MSDE Transaction Details Report has been enhanced to include Outstanding Encumbrances for all the periods of the selected year.

• Load Screen Changes
  The checkbox label, “Include Outstanding Encumbrances,” is displayed when Period 13 is selected.

• Load Logic changes

  • Selecting the “Include Outstanding Encumbrances” checkbox will include all the outstanding encumbrances for the entire year for the LOCAL GL ACCOUNT KEY.

  • The transaction date defaults to 6/30/<reporting year>. For example, if the Reporting Year is 2025, the default transaction date is 6/30/2025.

  • Also, the LOCAL TRANSACTION DETAIL KEY will include “;17” at the end as an encumbrances marker and also for restricting duplicates.

• Hard Copy - Excel changes
  The Hard Copy – Excel file contains the Transaction source name: "OUTSTANDING ENCUMBRANCES" for easy identification.

MD Annual Staff Report | Type 2 record fix

The 'Employee already exists' bug is fixed for MD Annual Staff Report Type 2 records when adding a second record for the same employee and year, but with different combinations of Position, Building, and Budget.
