Use the NE NSSRS Report - Download Staff ID from NDE page to import and update NDE Staff ID numbers from a download file provided by the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE).
This process updates the following fields with the NDE Staff ID:

The Staff State ID field on the Personnel tab of the Employee Information page.

The NDE Staff ID field on the Staff Demographics tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.

The system uses the following matching priority to update employee records:

First attempts to match by the Employee Number.

If the Employee Number is not found, the system attempts to match by the SSN.

If neither Employee Number nor SSN is found, the system attempts to match based on the Last Name and Birth Date combination.

On the NE NSSRS Report page, select Download Staff ID from NDE.

In the File Name field, enter the server path and file name of the .csv file provided by the NDE.

Select the Report Date for which to update the Staff ID numbers in the employee records.

Select Accept.

Select OK.
