NE NSSRS Report - Assignments Comparison Report - File Layout and Data Mapping

The default file names for the Assignments Comparison report are:

The following table shows the columns, column names, descriptions, and data sources or valid values for the Assignments Comparison report’s .xlsx file format.

Column	Column Name	Description	Data Source or Valid Values
A	EMPLOYEE NUMBER	The employee’s identification (ID) number.	Retrieved from the Employee Number field on the Staff Demographics tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
B	EMPLOYEE NAME	The employee’s name.	Retrieved from the Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, and Suffix fields on the Staff Demographics tab of the NE NSSRS Report page (combined as "Last, First MI Suffix").
C	REPORT DATE	The date of the NSSRS report submission for which the employee record applies.	Retrieved from the Report Date field on the Staff Demographics tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
D	COUNTY DISTRICT NUMBER	The NDE county-district number (##-####) associated with the position assignment.	Retrieved from the District field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
E	SCHOOL NUMBER	The school number where the position assignment is located.	Retrieved from the School field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
F	CONTROLLING DISTRICT	The county-district code (##-####) of the district that controls the position.	Retrieved from the Controlling District field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
G	POSITION ASSIGNMENT	A combined value displaying the Special Program Indicator (SPI), State Assignment Code, and internal Assignment code in the format "SPI-Code(Assignment)". For example, "0-1234(TEACHER)" where 0 is the SPI, 1234 is the state assignment code, and TEACHER is the internal position/assignment code. This information is retrieved from the SPI, Code, and Assignment fields on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page. H	FTE	The Full Time Equivalent value representing the portion of a full-time position.	Retrieved from the FTE field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
I	DAYS WORKED	The number of days worked in this position assignment.	Retrieved from the Days Worked field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
J	ASSIGN DATE	The start date of the position assignment.	Retrieved from the Assignment Date field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
K	COMPLETE DATE	The end or completion date of the position assignment.	Retrieved from the Completion Date field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
L	PARAPROFESSIONAL ASSESSMENT FLAG	Indicates which paraprofessional assessment the employee has passed.	Retrieved from the Paraprofessional Assessment Passed field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
M	QUAL_STATUS	Indicates which paraprofessional assessment the employee has passed	Retrieved from the Paraprofessional Assessment Passed field on the Position Assignments tab of the NE NSSRS Report page.
