The Categorical State Fund Balances report shows the beginning balance of each non-crosswalk record. It then lists the fund's revenue and expenditure amounts and the key organization and accounts for that amount. Lastly, it includes a total of all revenue and expenditures and the fund's ending balance.

On the IA Certified Annual Report (CAR) page, select Categorical State Fund Balances, and then Report.

Select the Fiscal Year. The default is the current year.

Select the Fiscal Period. If you select a Fiscal Period, the report will include totals only up through and including the selected period. For example, 3 consists of the totals for periods 1, 2, and 3.

Select PDF or Excel.

Select Create, and then Yes.

Save the file and select OK.

Navigate to the folder containing the report file.

Inspect the file. Update data if needed.

Repeat these steps until all the required data is included.
