OASIS Report - Setup - Excluded Pay Codes

Use the MO OASIS Report - Excluded Pay Codes page to define pay codes and/or job classes that should be excluded from Missouri OASIS (Online Automated Submission and Information System) retirement reporting. This page allows users to specify which combinations of pay codes and job classifications represent duty pay that should not be included in OASIS reports.

Perform the following setup procedure before creating the OASIS report.

  1. On the MO OASIS Report page, select Excluded Pay Codes.

  2. On the MO OASIS Report - Excluded Pay Codes page, filter records using the filter criteria. To enter filter criteria:

    1. Select an option in the first field.

    2. Select or enter a value.

    3. Select Add if the button is enabled.
      Refer to Search for records for more information.

      • To add a record, select Add Record. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields. Select Save, and then Yes.

      • To edit a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column and then select Edit. Update the information and select Save.

      • To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, and then select Yes.

      • To download the information, select Download, then select Download PDF or Download as an Excel Document. The default file names are:

        • Excel: MO OASIS Report-Excluded Pay Codes_<MMDDYYYY_hhmmss>.csv

        • PDF: MO OASIS Report-Excluded Pay Codes_<MMDDYYYY_hhmmss>.pdf

Field

Description

Job Class

The employee job classification code to exclude from OASIS retirement reporting. When a job class is specified, employees in that classification will have their earnings associated with that class excluded from retirement contribution calculations. This field, in conjunction with the Type field, determines exclusion criteria.

The values in the drop-down are retrieved from the Job Class page.

Pay Code

The specific payroll pay code to exclude from OASIS retirement reporting. When a pay code is specified, earnings associated with this pay code will not be included in the retirement contribution calculations for PSRS/PEERS reporting.

The values in the drop-down are retrieved from the Pay Codes page.

Type

Specify how the exclusion criteria should be applied.

Valid values:

  • P - Pay Code Only:
    Exclude earnings based solely on the specified pay code.

  • J - Job Class Only:
    Exclude earnings based solely on the specified job class.

  • B - Both Pay Code and Job Class:
    Exclude earnings only when both the pay code and job class match the specified values.
