OASIS Report

Use the OASIS Report page to create OASIS reports (PSRS/PEERS reports) to submit to OASIS. From this page, users can set up retirement deductions, board paid deductions, and excluded pay codes. Once that preliminary setup is complete, users can then load, update, and generate reports on OASIS records. If needed, users can also generate prior year adjustment reports.

Procedural Order

Users must complete procedures in the following order for correct OASIS submission:

  1. Set up state required pages (State Required, State Required II, Human Resources Profile - State Window). For details, refer to State Required.

  2. Set up Retirement Deductions, Board Paid Deductions, and Excluded Pay Codes. For details, refer to OASIS Setup.

  3. Use the Prior Year Adjustment page to make adjustment records for reports submitted in prior years and generate adjustment reports to submit to OASIS.

  4. Load records. For details, refer to OASIS Load.

  5. Manually update records, if needed. For details, refer to Updating Records.

  6. Generate and submit reports. For details, refer to Generating OASIS Reports.

  7. Create and submit Prior Year Adjustment reports, if needed. For details, refer to Prior Year Adjustments.

Action Bar Items

The following items display on the Action Bar:

Load

Displays the Load page. Use this page to Load OASIS retirement information.

When an employee has no other existing OASIS records, their records will be flagged as Enrollment.

If any changes to employees' demographic records have been made, their records will be flagged as demographic change.

Report

Displays the Report page. Use this page to generate the OASIS report in Hard Copy and Interface File format.

Enrollment

Displays the Enrollment page. Use this page to update and generate reports on enrollment records. These records cannot be added or deleted.

Prior Year Adjustment

Displays the Prior Year Adjustment page. Use this page to add adjustment records for previously reported employees.

This page has Report on the Action Bar. Click to display the Prior Year Adjustment Report page. Use this page to generate the Prior Year Adjustment Report in Hard Copy and Interface File format.

Retirement Deductions

Displays the Retirement Deductions page. Use this page to define deduction codes as state-defined retirement systems.

Board Paid Deductions

Displays the Board Paid Deductions page. For details, refer to Board Paid Insurance Update.

Excluded Pay Codes

Displays the Excluded Pay Codes page. Use this page to create criteria for pay rates, based on matching pay codes and job classes, to exclude from OASIS reporting. This page can also be used to generate list reports on the excluded pay codes and job classes.

Purge

Displays the Purge page. Use this page to delete records from the OASIS table as specified by school year and report month, if needed.
