OASIS Report
OASIS (Online Accounting System) is the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE) statewide financial reporting system used by public school districts and charter schools. The OASIS Report refers to the annual submission of district financial data through this system.
The Missouri OASIS Report is used to:
Collect standardized financial data from school districts and charter schools.
Support state and federal financial reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with Missouri statutes and accounting standards.
Provide transparency and comparability of school finance data across districts.
Menu path
From the Human Resources menu, select State. From the State - MO menu, select OASIS Report.
Submission period
OASIS is typically completed after the fiscal year ends (June 30).
Data is entered and reviewed during the summer and early fall.
Final submission deadlines are set annually by DESE and often align with CAFR and audit timelines.
Selection rule
Employees are selected and reported based on the following criteria:
Criteria | Description |

Date Range | Employees with checks issued within the specified Pay Start Date and Pay End Date range. |
Retirement Deductions | Employees with active retirement deductions configured on the MO Retirement Deductions page. |
Pay Runs | Optional exclusion of specific pay runs during the load process. |
Terminated Employees | Employees terminated within the pay period are flagged as Final Pay Employee. |
