Setup - Percent Increase Method - Future Pay Rates

Use the Future Pay Rates page to create, maintain, and manage employee pay rate records that take effect at a future date, allowing districts to prepare for upcoming fiscal years or scheduled salary changes.

Menu path

From the Human Resources menu, select Periodic Routines. From the Future Pay Rates menu, select Future Pay Rates.

  1. Refer to the Future Pay Rates page and add or update records as required.

  2. Before saving the record, refer to the Field descriptions and update the fields in the Min Mid Max Information section.

  3. Select Accept.

Field descriptions

The following table describes the fields in the Min Mid Max Information section on the Future Pay Rates page.

Field

Description

Pay Family

The pay family code that defines the employee's compensation group within the Min/Mid/Max salary structure.

Pay families group jobs with similar compensation characteristics.

Pay Grade

The pay grade code that identifies the specific level within the pay family.

Pay grades represent experience, responsibility, or skill levels and determine the applicable Min/Mid/Max salary range.

Contract Cycle

The contract cycle code for the employee.

This field identifies which contract period applies to the employee's pay rate, typically for employees with recurring annual contracts.
