Maintain Retirement ER20 ER25 ER27 Records - Position tab
The Position tab consists of the following:
Current Data
Enter only new data in the Current Data section.
The following table describes the fields in the Current Data section of the Position tab on the TX Team Report - Employment After Retirement (ER20/ER25/ER27) page.

TRS Position Code | The employee's current TRS position code. | Valid values:
The field value is retrieved from the TRS Position field on the Payroll Information - State Required page. This field value overrides the TRS Position field value on the Payroll Information - State Required page. |
Start Date | The current start date for the position. | Calculated during the data load process. The calculated value represents the adjusted contract start date for the reporting period. The system initially retrieves the value from the cont_start field on the payrate page. However, for reporting periods after June 30, 2018, if the original contract start date is before the first day of the reporting month, the system automatically adjusts it to be the first day of the reporting month (mFirstDayOfMonth). This ensures that the Employment After Retirement record accurately reflects only the portion of the contract that falls within the current reporting period. |
End Date | The current end date for the position. | Calculated during the data load process. The calculated value represents the adjusted contract end date for the reporting period. The system initially retrieves the value from the cont_end field on the payrate page. However, for reporting periods after June 30, 2018, the system automatically sets this to the last day of the reporting month (mFirstDayNextMo - 1), regardless of the original contract end date. This creates monthly ER position records that align with the TEAM reporting requirements, ensuring each record covers exactly one month's employment. |
Employment Type | The employee's current employment type. | Valid values:
The field value is retrieved from the Ret Emplmt Typ field on the Defined Page 32001 - State Required II page. This field value overrides the Ret Emplmt Typ field value on the Defined Page 32001 - State Required II page. |
Previously Reported to TEAM
The following table describes the fields in the Previously Reported to TEAM section of the Position tab on the TX Team Report - Employment After Retirement (ER20/ER25/ER27) page when the Record Code selected in the General section is ER27.
