Staff Information - Purge Data

Use the TX Ed-Fi Staff Information - Purge page to delete all Ed-Fi records that meet the specified criteria permanently.

  1. On the Staff Information page, select Purge.

  2. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter or select the required purge criteria.

  3. Select Accept, and then Yes.

Field descriptions

The TX Ed-Fi Staff Information - Purge page consists of the following sections:

Purge Scope

The following table describes the fields in the Purge Scope section on the TX Ed-Fi Staff Information - Purge page.

Field

Description

Staff (All Records)

Use this option to purge all records for a specific employee.

Payroll Only

Use this option to purge only payroll records.

Staff Extensions Only

Use this option to purge only staff extensions.

Staff Responsibilities Only

Use this option to purge only staff responsibilities.

Staff Selection Criteria

The following table describes the fields in the Staff Selection Criteria section on the TX Ed-Fi Staff Information - Purge page.

Field

Description

Employee Number

The identification (ID) number of the employee whose data is to be purged.

Select the Lookup icon to search for and select an employee number.

Staff ID

The staff ID of the employee whose data is to be purged.

Termination Date

The termination date of the employees whose data is to be purged.

Hire Date

The date of hire of the employees whose data is to be purged.

Use Employee Information Dates

Indicates whether to use the termination and hire dates from the Employee Information page instead of Ed-Fi to purge staff information.

Employee Types

Select this button to search for and select employee types to purge.

Employee Statuses

Select this button to search for and select employee statuses to purge.
