MTP crosswalk

Use this option to set up crosswalks for district-level data items that do not precisely match the state-level MTP data items used by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE).

Set up the MTP crosswalk

PowerSchool recommends you use the Upload option to populate the MTP crosswalk.

  1. On the RI MTP Report page, select Setup, and then MTP Crosswalk.

  2. Filter records using the filter criteria. To enter filter criteria:

    1. Select an option in the first field.

    2. Select or enter a value.

    3. Select Add if the button is enabled.
      Refer to Search for records for more information.

      • To add a record, select Add Record. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields. Select Save, then Yes.

      • To edit a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column and then select Edit. Update the information and select Save.

      • To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, and then select Yes.

The following table describes the fields on the RI MTP Report - Setup - MTP Crosswalk page.

Field

Description

Year

The fiscal year of the MTP data crosswalk.

Ledger

The ledger of the MTP data crosswalk.

Valid values:

  • E - Expenditure

  • R - Revenue

  • G - G/L

MTP Control

The single-digit MTP control number.

MTP Control Description

The description of the MTP control number.

MTP Department

The two-digit MTP department number.

MTP Department Description

The description of the MTP department number.

MTP Group

The two-digit MTP group number.

MTP Group Description

The description of the MTP group number.

MTP Class

The two-digit MTP class number.

MTP Class Description

The description of the MTP class number.

MTP Account

The three-digit MTP account number.

MTP Account Description

The description of the MTP account number.

Level Type

The level type of the MTP data crosswalk.

Valid values:

  • 1- Account

  • 2 - Fund

  • 3 - Activity

  • 4 - Job Class

  • 5 - Fund Number

Operation

The operator to be used in combination with the Code field value.

Valid values:

  • Equals

  • Is In

  • Is Not In

Code

The code of the MTP data crosswalk.

Grouping Type

The logical operator that determines how the system relates this search statement to the next one.

Valid values:

  • None

  • And = This search statement is included in a group with the next one. The search applies to all statements, and all conditions must be met.

  • Or = This search statement is included in a group with the next one. Statements are applied individually in the search, and only one of the conditions must be met.
