MTP report
The Municipal Transparency Portal (MTP) is a centralized database for municipal budgeting information collected and maintained by the Division of Municipal Finance. Municipalities must submit their annual budget information in a way that is consistent with their division’s content and format requirements.
The RI MTP report provides data that ensures transparency, uniformity, accountability, and comparability of financial information for all municipal schools and districts.
Menu path
From the Fund Accounting menu, select State. From the State menu, select RI MTP Report.
Submission period
This is an annual submission, usually submitted around December.
Selection rule
Financial information is extracted based on the reporting structure and crosswalks set up for the selected reporting period.
Prerequisite
Complete the Setup procedures.
