Human Resources Profile – State

Before generating reports, enter valid information on the Human Resources Profile - State page.

  1. On the start page, select System Administration.

  2. Select Administration, and then from Profiles, select Human Resources Profile.

  3. Select State Window.

  4. Refer to the Field Descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields.

  5. Select Accept.

Description

Local Income Tax Withholding Account

Number identifying the local tax withholding general ledger account.

The limit is eight characters.

Federal EIN

This field is not used.

State Employer Account Number

This field is not used.

Blocking Factor

This field is not used.

Use Calendar Days for Retirement Days

Select to use employees' calendars to calculate days worked for employees whose time is loaded. This calculation does not apply to employees whose timecards are imported via Batch Timecard or other import methods. When using this option, you can exclude specific calendars from the SERS or STRS retirement systems service days calculation on the Calendars page by selecting the Exclude from retirement days option. 

SERS County Code

The state-defined code identifying the district's county for SERS reporting.

The limit is three characters.

SERS District Code

The state-defined code identifying the district for SERS reporting.

The limit is five characters.

SERS Employee Rate

The employee rate for SERS contribution.

The limit is eight total numeric characters plus a decimal, with up to four digits before and up to four digits following the decimal.

SERS Employer Rate

The employer rate for SERS contribution.

The limit is eight total numeric characters plus a decimal, with up to four digits before and up to four digits following the decimal.

SERS Employer ID

The state-defined code identifying the employer for SERS reporting.

The limit is five characters.

Employer STRS Number

The state-defined code identifying the employer for STRS reporting.

The limit is four characters.

STRS Employee Rate

The published employee rate for STRS contribution.

The limit is six total numeric characters plus a decimal, with up to three digits before and up to three digits following the decimal.

STRS Employer Rate

The published employer rate for STRS contribution.

The limit is six total numeric characters plus a decimal, with up to three digits before and up to three digits following the decimal.

STRS State Minimum Salary

The minimum salary amount used for STRS Annual Member Contribution Report calculation.

The limit is five numeric characters.

Purge Expired Certifications

Select a time frame to purge expired certifications when using the Certification Upload option.

Valid values:

  • Do Not Purge: Expired certifications are not purged.

  • Purge All Expired: All expired certifications are purged.

  • Purge Expired > 1 Month: Expired certifications older than one month are purged.

  • Purge Expired > 3 Months: Expired certifications older than three months are purged.

  • Purge Expired > 6 Months: Expired certifications older than six months are purged.

  • Purge Expired > 1 Year: Expired certifications older than one year are purged.

  • Purge Expired > 2 Years: Expired certifications older than two years are purged.
