Human Resources Profile – State
Before generating the reports, enter valid information on the Human Resources Profile - State page.
On the start page, select System Administration.
Select Administration, then from the Profiles menu, select Human Resources Profile.
Select State Window.
Refer to the Field descriptions and enter valid information.
Select Accept.
Field descriptions
The following table lists the fields, descriptions, and reports that reference the fields on the Human Resources Profile - State page.

Local Income Tax Withholding Account | The general ledger account number used for Ohio local income tax withholding. The limit is eight characters. | Used for Ohio Local Income Tax withholding processing. Referenced during payroll processing for local tax account assignments. |

State Employer Account Number | The Ohio state employer account number used for quarterly wage reporting. Do not include dashes. | |
Blocking Factor | The blocking factor used for creating electronic files for quarterly wage reporting. | |
Use Calendar Days for Retirement Days | Indicates whether to use calendar days instead of work days when calculating retirement service days for SERS and STRS reporting. This calculation does not apply to employees whose timecards are imported via Batch Timecard or other import methods. When using this option, you can exclude specific calendars from the SERS or STRS retirement systems service days calculation on the Calendars page by selecting the Exclude from retirement days option. | |
SERS County Code | The School Employees Retirement System (SERS) county code assigned to the district. The limit is three characters. | |
SERS District Code | The School Employees Retirement System (SERS) district code assigned to the district. The limit is five characters. | |
SERS Employee Rate | The current SERS employee contribution rate. Enter as a decimal value (e.g., 0.090 for 9%). The limit is eight total numeric characters, plus a decimal point, with up to four digits before and up to four digits after the decimal point. | |
SERS Employer Rate | The current SERS board/employer contribution rate. Enter as a decimal value (e.g., 0.14 for 14%). The limit is eight total numeric characters, plus a decimal point, with up to four digits before and up to four digits after the decimal point. | |
SERS Employer ID | The School Employees Retirement System (SERS) employer identification number assigned to the district. The limit is five characters. | |
Employer STRS Number | The State Teachers Retirement System (STRS) employer identification number assigned to the district. The limit is four characters. | |
STRS Employee Rate | The current STRS employee contribution rate. Enter as a decimal value (e.g., 0.093 for 9.3%). The limit is six total numeric characters, plus a decimal point, with up to three digits before and up to three digits after the decimal point. | |
STRS Employer Rate | The current STRS board/employer contribution rate. Enter as a decimal value (e.g., 0.14 for 14%). The limit is six total numeric characters, plus a decimal point, with up to three digits before and up to three digits after the decimal point. | |
STRS State Minimum Salary | The STRS state minimum salary amount used for retirement reporting calculations. The limit is five numeric characters. | |
