Exceptions

Use the VA VRS Life Insurance - Exceptions page to create salary exception overrides based on pay method, job class, or employee number. You can add multipliers to override the default salary calculation. For example, electoral workers show up on the payroll as working a 40-hour week but work only two days a year.

  1. On the VA VRS Life Insurance page, select Exceptions.

    • To add a record, click Add Record. Refer to the Field Descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields. Select Save, and then select Yes.

    • To edit a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column and then select Edit. Update the information and select Save.

    • To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, and then select Yes.
