TEAM Setup

Use the TX Team Report - Setup page to:

  • Define relationships between organizations and accounts in the Fund Accounting system and the state account codes.

  • Set up the reporting structure for TRS Enterprise Application Modernization (TEAM) reporting to determine the organization chart level and starting and ending positions for Function, Object, Program, and Local titles.

  • Set up email domains.

Menu Path

From the Human Resources menu, select State. From the State menu, select TX TEAM Report. From the TEAM Setup and Crosswalks menu, select TEAM Setup.

The TX Team Report - Setup page consists of three sections:

District Settings

The following are the fields in the District Settings section:

Field

Description

District ID

The four-digit code identifying your district.

School Year Start

The date that the school year starts.

Determines which pay rates to include when calculating the annual salary for a deceased member.

The format is MM/DD/YYYY.

School Year End

The date that the school year ends. 

Determines which pay rates to include when calculating the annual salary for a deceased member.

The format is MM/DD/YYYY.

Cost of Education Index

Cost of education index.

The cost of education index explains variations in teacher salaries. 

Valid values range from 1.02 to 1.20.

Performance Pay User Defined Table

The two-digit code identifying the user-defined table for performance pay.

Performance Pay tables are set up in the User Defined Codes table. 

Child Nutrition Budget Unit

Budget unit to be used when interfacing child nutrition charges.

Character/16

Leave this field blank to distribute child nutrition across employee salaries.

Reporting Structure

The following are called TEAM Title fields. Each title has an Organization/Account Level. Enter the Starting Position and Ending Position within the level for each title.

  • 14 - 3rd Sub-Account

Object

Organization chart level of object.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Fund

  • 2 - Function

  • 3 - Organization

  • 4 - Program

  • 5 - Responsibility

  • 6 - Budget Number

  • 11 - Account

  • 12 - 1st Sub-Account

  • 13 - 2nd Sub-Account

  • 14 - 3rd Sub-Account

Program

Organization chart level of program.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Fund

  • 2 - Function

  • 3 - Organization

  • 4 - Program

  • 5 - Responsibility

  • 6 - Budget Number

  • 11 - Account

  • 12 - 1st Sub-Account

  • 13 - 2nd Sub-Account

  • 14 - 3rd Sub-Account

Local

Organization chart level of local.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Fund

  • 2 - Function

  • 3 - Organization

  • 4 - Program

  • 5 - Responsibility

  • 6 - Budget Number

  • 11 - Account

  • 12 - 1st Sub-Account

  • 13 - 2nd Sub-Account

  • 14 - 3rd Sub-Account

Email Domains

Use the Email Domains section to specify allowable domains for work email addresses. Emails listed on Employee Information pages matching these criteria are included in the report. Use the Insert Row and Delete Row options to add and delete domains. The character limit is 49.

If no domains are entered, no email addresses are reported.
