Maintain Retirement ER20 ER25 ER27 Records - Third Party Retiree

Use the TX TEAM Report - Third Party Retiree page to create retirement records for employees contracted by a third party to work at your district, but who do not have an Employee Information record.

Maintain data

  • On the TX TEAM Report - Third Party Retiree page, enter Search Criteria and select Search.

    • To add a record, select Add new. Refer to the Field descriptions, fill in the information, and select Accept.

    • To edit, double-click the record. Update the information and select Accept

    • To delete a record, select the record and select Delete. Select Yes.

Social Security/ITIN

The retired employee's Social Security number or ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number).

This field is view-only and cannot be updated after saving the record.

The retired employee's last name.

The retired employee's first name.

Middle Name

The retired employee's middle name.

Not applicable

Suffix

The retired employee’s name suffix.

Valid values:

  • I

Birth Date

The retired employee's birthdate.

Not applicable

Gender

The retired employee's gender.

Valid values:

  • Female

  • Male

TRS Position Code

The retired employee's TRS position code.

Valid values:

  • 00 - Missing Position

  • 01 - Professional/Administrative

  • 02 - Teacher or Full-time Librarian

  • 03 - Support Staff

  • 04 - Bus Driver

  • 05 - Full-time Nurse/Counselor

  • 06 - Peace Officer

  • 07 - Support Staff-Food Service Worker

  • 09 - Summer School Pay

Start Date

The date the retired employee began employment.

Not applicable

End Date

The date the retired employee's employment ended.

Not applicable

Employment Type

The retired employee's employment type.

Valid values:

  • S - Substitute

  • H - Half-time or less

  • C - Combination of substitute and half-time

  • F - Full-time

  • E - Surge personnel exception

  • B - Non-profit tutor substitute

  • N - Non-profit tutor half-time or less 

  • T - Non-profit tutor full-time

Days Worked

The actual number of days worked by the employee.

Includes paid leave.

Not applicable

Third Party Paid

Indicates whether a third party paid the retired employee.

Valid values:

  • Y - Yes

  • N - No

Reportable

Indicates whether the retired employee worked hours for the current report month. Employees who worked hours will have an ER20 report automatically created for that month.

Valid values:

  • Y - Yes

  • N - No
