Ed-Fi Batch Staff Extensions
Use the TX Ed-Fi Batch Staff Extensions page to maintain Ed-Fi (Education Finance) Staff Extension records for employees in the Texas education system. It allows you to store additional custom data fields for staff members that need to be reported to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) through the Ed-Fi standard.
You can also import Ed-Fi batch staff extension records from a .csv file.
The following table lists the entity names and their corresponding field names, which can be batch processed.

Menu path
From the main navigation menu, select PEIMS, then Data Exchange (Ed-Fi). From the Staff menu, select Ed-Fi Batch Staff Extensions.
Maintain data
On the TX Ed-Fi Batch Staff Extensions page, enter the Search Criteria and select Search.
To add a record, select Add new. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter valid information.
In the field values grid, select a field from the drop-down list in the Field Name column.
Refer to the Field descriptions - Field value grid and enter a valid value in the Value column.
Enter a brief description in the Description column.
Select Insert Row to add a new row. Select Delete Row to delete an unused row.
Select Accept.
To delete a record, select the record. Select Delete, and then Yes.
To generate a report, select Print, and then select a Destination:
Select File to create the report in .rpt format. The default file name is tx_batch_ext.rpt. You can change the default file name.
Select Screen to download the report in .pdf format. The default file name is tx_batch_ext_<#####>.pdf.
Select Excel to download the report in .xlsx format. Select the required Excel Options. The default file name is tx_batch_extrpt<####_#####>.xlsx.
Select OK.
Download the .rpt file from the View Files page.
Save the .pdf or .xls file.
