EMIS Class Codes

On the EMIS Class Codes page, users can create and assign new class codes, update existing class codes, delete class codes and generate reports on selections of class codes. These class codes are organized by a specific EMIS class code which signifies a specific field of study or faculty position. Assignments are then stored in these class code records.

Menu Path: EMIS > All > EMIS Reference Tables > EMIS Class Codes

Adding new record

  1. Select EMIS > All > EMIS Reference Tables > EMIS Class Codes to display the EMIS Class Codes page.

  2. Click Add New.

  3. In the appropriate Details section, complete the fields as needed. For details, refer to the Fields below.

  4. Click OK to save the record.

Updating current records

  1. Select EMIS > All > EMIS Reference Tables > EMIS Class Codes to display the EMIS Class Codes page.

  2. In the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the records to list, and then click Find.

  3. In the List section, select the desired record.

  4. In the appropriate Details section, update the fields as desired. For details, refer to the Fields below.

  5. Click OK to save the record.

  6. Click Back to close the page.

Deleting a record

  1. Select EMIS > All > EMIS Reference Tables > EMIS Class Codes to display the EMIS Class Codes page.

  2. In the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the records to list, and then click Find.

  3. In the List section, select the desired record.

  4. Click Delete.

  5. In the Confirmation dialog, click Yes.

Generating a record report

  1. Select EMIS > All > EMIS Reference Tables > EMIS Class Codes to display the EMIS Class Codes page.

  2. In the Search Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the records to list, and then click Find.

  3. In the List section, select the desired record.

  4. Click Print.

  5. In the Print window, specify how to generate the report, and then click OK. The report's default file name is ohetbl_class.

Three digit code to identify an EMIS class.

Description of the Class Code. Character/25

Class Code

Drop down to select the Class Code associated.

Assignment Reported

Option to confirm that position code requires a reported assignment. Select the field if the assignment has been reported, otherwise leave it blank.
