New Hire Report - File Layout and Data Mapping
The default file name of the New Hire report electronic file is NY New Hire Report_<MMDDYYYY>_<hhmmss>.rpt.
The following are the layouts for the five record types included in the file:
The file must contain the following records in sequence:
Record 1A - Transmitter record
Record 1E - Employer record
Record 1H - New employee record
Record 1T - Total record
Record 1F - Final record
Repeat records 1E, 1H, and 1T for each employer in the file. Fields must be left justified and filled with blanks.
