ORS-PSERS - Setup - Retirement Deduction Codes
Use the MI ORS-PSERS - Reference Tables - Retirement Deduction Codes page to add, edit, or delete retirement deduction codes. You must create deduction codes for retirement, Tax-Deferred Payments (TDP), and Health Care.
Enter only valid deduction codes from payroll for retirement deductions. You can enter retirement deduction codes for the Hybrid Plan, MIP fixed, MIP graded, MIP Plus, and Board or Basic. An employee can have more than one active retirement deduction code during a payroll period.
On the MI ORS-PSERS (Public School Employees Retirement) page, select Reference Tables, then Retirement Deduction Codes.
To add a record, select Add Record. Refer to the Field descriptions, enter valid information, and select Save.
To edit a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column and then select Edit. Update the information and select Save.
To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, and then select Yes.
To download the information, select Download, then select Download PDF or Download as an Excel Document.

Field | Description |

Deduction Code | The deduction code. This field is view-only. Select the lookup icon to search for and select a deduction code. The records in the Deduction Code Search Tool are retrieved from the Deduction Table page. |
Title | The deduction code’s title. This field is view-only. The field value is retrieved from the Title field on the Deduction Table page. |
Retirement Type | The retirement type. Valid values:
