LA PEP Report - Load Data

After completing the setups, you must load LA PEP demographic, site/position, and non-attendance data into the LA PEP record work tables.

Use the LA PEP Report - Load page to specify the criteria for loading the required data for the report.

  1. On the LA PEP Report page, select Load.

  2. Refer to the Field descriptions and enter or select the Load criteria.

  3. Select Accept.

  4. If data for the selected criteria is loaded, select Yes to delete and reload the data.

  5. Save the Load Summary report file and select OK.

  6. If errors are encountered, save the Load Error log. To save the log, select a Destination:

    • Select File to create the report in .rpt format. In the File Name field, you can change the default file name.

    • Select Screen to download the report in .pdf format.

    • Select Excel to download the report in .xls format. Select the required Excel Options.

      • Select OK.

        • Download the .rpt file from the View Files page.

        • Save the .pdf or .xls file.

  7. Select OK.

  8. Navigate to the file location.

  9. Inspect the files. Refer to Maintain Data and update it as necessary.

  10. Repeat these steps until no errors are encountered and all required data is loaded.

Field descriptions

The following table describes the fields on the LA PEP Report - Load page.

Year

The starting year of the fiscal period.

Submission Type

The type of submission.

Valid values:

  • A - End of year report of actual paid amounts

  • B - Fall report of budgeted/projected amounts

Report Dates

The report’s starting and ending dates.

These fields are populated based on the Year selected. You can select different starting and ending dates.

Non-Attendance Date Range

The report’s non-attendance starting and ending dates.

These fields are populated based on the Year selected. You can select different starting and ending dates.

Employee Status

The employee statuses to include.

The values in the drop-down list are retrieved from the Status Code Table page.

Nurse Certification Verified

Indicates whether primary certifications starting with RN must be flagged as verified.

Reportable Email Domains

Allowable domains for work email addresses.

The report includes email addresses listed on Employee Information pages that match these criteria.

Select Insert Row to add a new record. To delete a record, select the row and click Delete Row.

The domain name is the portion of the email address following the "@" symbol. Do not include the "@" as part of the domain name.
