Set up VRS Life Insurance
Use the VA VRS Life Insurance - Setup page to set options for rounding values and managing automatic calculations.
On the VA VRS Life Insurance page, select Setup.
Select Round to Nearest Cent to enable rounding of values to the nearest cent.
Select the Optional Life Common Date and Optional Life Start Date.
Select Save, then Yes.
When the Update Deductions option is used, the voluntary life insurance deductions are updated only if the current date is later than the Optional Life Start Date. When the update is complete, the Optional Life Common Date and Optional Life Start Date fields are incremented by one year.
