OH Endorsements

Use the OH Endorsements page to add, update, and delete endorsement records associated with an employee's certificate. This page allows users to manage the specific endorsements that are attached to an Ohio educator's certificate for EMIS state reporting.

Menu path

From the Human Resources menu, select State. From the State - OH menu, select OH Endorsements.

Maintain Endorsement data

  • On the OH Endorsements page, enter the Search Criteria to find the required records, and then select Search.
    Refer to Search for records for more information.

    • To add a record, select Add new. Refer to the Field descriptions, enter valid information, and select Accept.

    • To edit a record, select the record and select Accept. Update the information and select Accept.

    • To delete, select Delete, and then Yes.

    • To generate a report, select Print, and then select a Destination:

      • Select File to create the report in .rpt format. The default file name is oh_endorse_table.rpt. You can change the default file name.

      • Select Screen to download the report in .pdf format. The default file name is oh_endorse_table_<#####>.pdf.

      • Select Excel to download the report in .xlsx format. Select the required Excel Options. The default file name is oh_endorse_tablerpt<####_#####>.xlsx.

        • Select OK.

          • Download the .rpt file from the View Files page.

          • Save the .pdf or .xls file.
            For more information about the Print option, refer to Print Reports.

Field descriptions

The following table describes the fields on the OH Endorsements page.

Field

Description

Endorsement

The endorsement code.

This is the unique identifier for the endorsement type associated with the employee's certificate.

Description

The endorsement description.

This provides a text description of what the endorsement code represents.

CRDC Specialized Area

The specialized area for staff FTE counts in Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC).

This field maps the endorsement to a federal CRDC specialization category for reporting purposes.

Valid values:

  • ESL - English as a Second Language

  • MATH - Mathematics

  • SCI - Science

  • SPED - Special Education
