Warrant Report

Use the NY - Warrant Report page to create the New York Warrant report.

Menu path

From the Fund Accounting menu, select State. From the State - NY menu, select Warrant Report.

Selection rule

The transactions are selected and updated based on the setup and report criteria for the selected check types.

Complete the Setup procedure.

Setup

Assign Warrant Numbers

Use the NY - Warrant Report - Setup - Assign Warrant Numbers page to designate the warrant number assigned to each fund.

  1. On the NY - Warrant Report page, select Setup, and then Assign Warrant Numbers.

  2. Filter records using the filter criteria. To enter filter criteria:

    1. Select an option in the first field.

    2. Select or enter a value.

    3. Select Add if the button is enabled.
      Refer to Search for Records for more information.

      • To add a record, click Add Record. Refer to Field descriptions and enter valid information in the required fields. Select Save, then Yes.

      • To edit a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, then select Edit. Update the information and select Save.

      • To delete a record, select the ellipsis in the Actions column, select Delete, then select Yes.

Field descriptions

The following table describes the fields on the NY - Warrant Report - Setup - Assign Warrant Numbers page.

Field

Description

Fund

The fund number.

Warrant Number

The associated warrant number.

Create file

The Pre-Warrant report file displays the warrant numbers to update. If the Pre-Warrant report file is accurate, you can create the Warrant report. During this process, the warrant numbers are updated.

  1. On the NY - Warrant Report page, select the following:

    • Warrant Date

    • Period End Date

    • Account Name

    • Transaction Start Date

    • Transaction End Date

    • Select Checks

  2. For the Report Type, select Pre-Warrant.

  3. For the File Format, select PDF or Excel.

  4. Select Create, then Yes.

  5. Save the file and select OK.

  6. Navigate to the folder containing the report file.

  7. Inspect the file. Update data if needed.

  8. Repeat these steps until all the required data is included.

  9. For the Report Type, select Warrant.

  10. For the File Format, select PDF or Excel.

  11. Select Create, then Yes.

  12. Save the file and select OK.

The default file names are:

  • Pre-Warrant report

    • Excel: NY Pre-Warrant Report_<MMDDYYYY>_<hhmmss>.xlsx

    • PDF: NY Pre-Warrant Report_<MMDDYYYY>_<hhmmss>.pdf

  • Warrant report

    • Excel: NY Warrant Report_<MMDDYYYY>_<hhmmss>.xlsx

    • PDF: NY Warrant Report_<MMDDYYYY>_<hhmmss>.pdf
