ERS Retirement Report

The Employees’ Local Retirement System (ERS) is a New York State retirement program for non-certified staff members, including Clerical, Teacher Aide, Bus Driver, and Bus Attendant positions.

Menu path

From the Human Resources menu, select State. From the State - NY menu, select ERS Retirement Report.

Submission period

Monthly.

The report must be submitted to NYSLRS by the seventh day of the month following the report period.

For example, the August report is due by September 7.

Selection rule

Employees who are eligible for ERS are selected and reported.

Prerequisites

• Set up Deduction Codes.

• Enter valid information on the Pay Codes page.

• Create ERS Retirement records on the NY Retirement Information page.

• Ensure that the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) work cycles used in your organization are configured correctly. For more information on configuring FLSA work cycles, refer to the FLSA Cycle Setup Guide for Employee Timesheets Configuration and Overtime Calculations.

• Complete the Setup procedure.
