MN | Quarterly Unemployment Report | Load and Maintenance Screen Enhancements

Load Logic

The load logic has been enhanced, and the following non-required fields have been included:

Wages

• All wage fields have been aligned with the same UI validations as Total Quarterly Wages.

• Total Quarterly Wages has been renamed UI Wages.

• A new field, UI Exempt Wages, has been added.

  • Wages exempt from UI are captured here.

• A new field, Total Wages, has been added.

  • All wages, including UI wages and UI exempt wages, are included.

• A new field, Paid Leave Subject Wages, has been added.

  • Wages subject to Paid Leave deductions are determined based on selections made on the Load page.

• The UI Exempt checkbox has been removed.

  • It is no longer extracted from the 32001 page for both load and maintenance add record.

  • The final UI Exempt reporting is now determined based on wage/hours selection rather than the employee-level flag.

  • The UI hours field on the 32001 page continues to override if present.

Hours

• All hour fields have been aligned with the same UI validations as “Hours Worked.”

• “Hours Worked” has been renamed to UI Hours.

• A new field, UI Exempt Hours, has been added.

  • Hours exempt from UI are captured here.

• A new field, Total Hours, has been added.

  • All hours, including UI hours and UI exempt hours, are included.

• A new field, Paid Leave Subject Hours, has been added.

  • Hours subject to Paid Leave deductions are determined based on selections made on the Load screen.

Paid Leave Deduction Fields

(These fields are not included in the electronic file and are used only for deduction calculation.)

• Paid Leave Contribution

  • The employee contribution portion is captured.

• Paid Leave Benefit

  • The employer contribution portion is captured.

• UI Validations

  • A validation range of 0 to 7.2 has been applied.

  • A value of 0 is accepted.

Maintenance page

• The new fields listed above have been added and are displayed in the same order as the respective wage and hour fields.

• The UI Exempt field has been removed.

Report page and Hard Copy reports enhancements:

• The UI Exempt flag is now shown only for electronic file selection.

  • PDF and Excel (hardcopy) outputs continue to display all maintenance page values.

  • This enables easier reconciliation within a single file.

• When the UI Exempt option is selected, an additional drop-down (single select) is displayed to determine printed values:

  • Wages / Hours options include:

    • Total Wages / Hours

    • Paid Leave Subject Wages / Hours

    • UI Exempt Wages / Hours

    • Paid Leave UI Exempt Wages / Hours

• Based on the selected option:

  • Employees are included in the report.

  • The selected wages/hours are printed when at least one value (wages or hours) is greater than zero.

  • UI_<Year>_Q_UIWage.txt

• If UI Exempt is selected:
