Employee Information - Activity Tracker

The Activity Tracker allows you to create and maintain details of an employee's experience in various systems.

Specify Activity Tracker Information Ffr Regular Employees

Regular employees do not have a Pending Status of Add Pending on the Employee Information page.

  1. On the application start page, choose Human Resources. 

  2. Click Entry & Processing, then choose Employee Information (under Employee). 

  3. Specify the search criteria and click Search
    Alternatively, you can select Exclude Pending Employees, then click Search.

  4. Double-click the relevant employee record. 

  5. Click Personnel Information, then select Activity Tracker

  6. Click Add new. Refer to Employee Information - Activity Tracker#Field Descriptions and enter the required information.

  7. Click Accept.

Specify Activity Tracker Information For Pending Employees

Pending employees have a Pending Status of Add Pending on the Employee Information page.

  1. On the application start page, choose Human Resources.

  2.  Click Entry & Processing, then choose Employee Information (under Employee).

  3. Specify the search criteria and click Search
    Alternatively, you can select Only List Pending Employees, then click Search

  4. Double-click the relevant employee record. 

  5. Click Activity Tracker (under Personnel). 

  6. On the navigation bar, click Add new. Refer to Employee Information - Activity Tracker#Field Descriptions and enter the required information.

  7. Click Accept.

  8. Click Finish.

Field Descriptions

Activity Information

The following fields have special considerations:

The following are the Situation Type options:

  • OTH AL EXP

  • OTH PRV EXP

  • OTH PUB EXP

  • THIS SYS EXP

  • THIS SYS SUP EX

Each Situation Type has additional fields in the Activity Detail section.

Used to categorize employee experiences into types of situations.

Start Date

Beginning date of the experience.

Used for LEAPS Staff report to calculate months of experience.

Stop Date

Ending date of the experience.

Used for LEAPS Staff report to calculate months of experience.

Activity Detail

The following fields have special considerations:

RECORD LOCK

Used for locking the record.

Valid values:

  • Y - Lock record

  • N - Do not lock the record. Leave the field blank to imply N.

To prevent the record’s YEARS and MONTHS fields from being automatically updated. However, the experience is considered. 

EXP VERIFIED

Used to indicate if the employee's experience is verified.

Valid values:

  • Y - Verified

  • N - Unverified. Leave the field blank to imply N.

PREV ER NAME

Previous employer's name

PREV ER ADDR

Previous employer's address
