TX TEAM Statutory Minimum Recalculation Fixes

The TX TEAM statutory minimum recalculation for employees who have been terminated early has been corrected on several minor issues. The primary issue is that the recalculation failed to identify a pay rate if the position defaults crosswalk did not have a record for the job class or pay code. This resulted in odd date ranges on the recalculation summary and incorrect months worked being used.

Texas - Redistribute Payroll - uses the original pay run when the Pay Run field is left blank

Main Menu > Human Resources > Periodic Routines > Periodic Processing > Redistribute Payroll.
Texas has a Pay Run field allowing users to enter a different pay run to charge a redistribution. If the pay run was left blank, while we provided a message that leaving this blank could cause issues with state reporting when in the select preview, the original pay run should have been displayed on the preview page. The issue was that the pay run field on the preview page was blank. Therefore, the pay run was not included in the redistribution record when interfaced.
The preview page is now corrected to default the original pay run if the pay run field is blank. In addition, the message provided before the preview when the pay run is left blank is modified to provide more details as to what is affected when the original pay run is on the redistribution records. The new message is, "Leaving pay run blank will result in original pay run used for redistribution. If TEAM charging records are already created for the original pay run, the redistribution will not be included in future TEAM loads.”

Texas TEAM load is now updated to correctly identity existing position records

In Human Resources > State > TX TEAM Report > TEAM Load, the logic has been updated to correctly identify whether the TRS submitted ED40 position record already exists for the month being loaded. This will prevent fatal errors from occurring by creating multiple records if the same TRS position exists in the same month.

TX TEA Staff Responsibilities now displays the employee number

Menu path: From the main navigation menu, select PEIMS and then All. Select TEA Staff Responsibilities.

The search on the TX TEA Staff Responsibilities page now displays the employee number in the grid. You can also search by specific or multiple employee numbers, separated by a pipe symbol (|).

TX Staff Responsibility Tables Had Keys Added

To aid DEX in recognizing that staff responsibilities data has changed, a primary key has been added to the table tx_staff_assignment, and a primary and foreign key have been added to the table tx_staff_service.
