Deferred Compensation Report Setup
Before generating the Deferred Compensation Report, ensure that valid information is entered in the following fields on the South Carolina State Retirement page:
Part Date
Marital Status
Division No
When you create the electronic file for the Deferred Compensation Report, the information is populated for the participant contributions that are reported to the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) - Empower Retirement (Empower).
South Carolina State Retirement Page - Employee Information
On the application start page, select Menu > Human Resources > Entry & Processing > Employee Information (under Employee).
Specify the search criteria and click Find.
OR
Leave all Search Criteria fields blank, and select Include Terminated Employees and Exclude Pending Employees. Click Find.
A list of regular employees matching the search criteria appears.Double-click the relevant employee record.
On the navigation bar, click Personnel Information, and select Defined Windows.
Double-click 32001 - South Carolina State Retirement.

Field Description Required / Optional Source Data / Override Part Date Date the employee opted to enroll in the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) - Empower Retirement (Empower) program.

W - WidowedRequired Source data Division No The division number that the employee belongs to. Required for overriding the Division Number on the SC Deferred Compensation Report - Load screen. Override Enter valid information and on the navigation bar, click OK.
