Pennsylvania PIMS Staff Template - PPID Field Correction

When staff members did not have a PPID (Staff State ID) value entered in the Human Resources > Employee Information > Personnel tab, the PA PIMS Staff Template report was incorrectly populating the PPID field with the employee's Social Security Number. This did not align with Pennsylvania state reporting specifications.

The PA PIMS reporting logic has been updated to handle missing PPID values according to Pennsylvania state guidance:

  • Employees with PPID: Continue to display their assigned PPID value (no change in behavior).

  • Employees without PPID: Now display a default identifier formatted as "SS" + the employee number (zero-padded to 5 digits, e.g., "SS00073").

  • Error Logging: A warning message is now logged to the error report (pims_rpt_error.rpt) when the default identifier is used.

This is for Versions 23.10 and 25.7.
