Annual Financial Report (ST3)

According to General Municipal Law Section 30, every school district must report its financial condition to the State Comptroller annually. This is done by submitting the Annual Financial Report (ST-3) to the State Education Department (SED) and the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) via the State Aid Management System (SAMS). The ST-3 report includes fund financial statements, which adhere closely to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as well as supplemental schedules tailored to the specific requirements of SED and OSC.
